I am grateful for the love and connection I formed with my Mom, Kathy who was with me at my first jewelry show. The passion and dedication that I have for JK Designs is because of this incredible connection we shared. The J represents my name Jessica and the K hers. I am beyond grateful for my Mother Kathy who guides my hands through this passion on a daily basis to design incredible pieces of jewelry to share with everyone.

I love being able to find connections between gemstones and the customers that shop at JK Designs! Everyday I am excited about the new possibilities of designing and working with customers to create a piece that they will want to wear everyday!

Creating a meaningful connection is why customers return to shop with us! We help customers find new pieces they love! We offer gemstones and designs that provide a one-of-a-kind look and experience that can’t be found anywhere else.

As a designer I am grateful to be surrounded by the beauty found on the coast of Charleston, SC. When I’m not designing I love spending time with my husband, son and 2 Australian shepherds.

Amanda loves to create jewelry sets for customers celebrating special occasions.  Her creativity and eye for detail also extends into her interest in painting. She is always excited to recommend her favorite gemstone labradorite.

Victoria excels at helping customers create the perfect memento from their trip to Charleston.  Outside of work she likes playing with and training her cat!  Her favorite stone to suggest wearing is freshwater pearl.

McKenzie Smith

McKenzie Smith

McKenzie enjoys creating beautiful designs with her favorite gemstones moss aquamarine and lapis.  When not creating, she has a love for fostering and volunteering with animals.

Kelly Calaway

Kelly’s favorite part working at JK Designs is the energy created when making custom pieces for someone.  When not working,  she can be found spending time at the beach  and she also enjoys snowboarding.  At work you might see her wearing one of her favorite stones, labradorite!

Jordan Stofko

Jordan likes to see customers fall in love with their custom pieces. She has a special preference to designing with Keshi pearls as her birthstone is also pearl. When not at work Jordan also enjoys crocheting.

Kelsie's favorite part of the job is interacting with people from all over the world and curating pieces to create their perfect set. Some of her hobbies include cooking/baking and she is a fan of alternative/indie rock music.  Her gemstone of choice is peridot!

Abbey loves how you can customize jewelry to suit your style and how passionate all of the employees are about the brand.  Fall is her favorite season and the perfect time to enjoy her favorite drink pumpkin spiced latte while shopping.  She loves wearing sapphire and anything in gold!

The Charleston City Market

The passion in making our handmade jewelry started in 2014 at the Charleston City Market. Known as “the cultural heart of Charleston,’ you can find us here selling at our booth everyday in the day market and the seasonal night market open March-December on Friday and Saturday nights. This lively open air market is where we make unforgettable connections designing jewelry with customers who visit from all over the world!
