Now Hiring: Jewelry Sales and Design Associate

JK Designs Jewelry is a locally owned Charleston jewelry brand with two retail locations: our fine jewelry boutique located inside the Planters Inn Hotel and the historic Charleston City Market.

We are seeking a professional, polished, and sales-driven Jewelry Sales and Design Associate to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong sense of personal style, and is confident helping clients select meaningful jewelry pieces. Team members work across both locations, interacting with visitors from around the world while representing a Charleston jewelry brand known for custom designs and personalized service.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome customers and provide a warm, boutique-level shopping experience
  • Assist customers in selecting jewelry and exploring custom design options
  • Confidently engage customers and guide them through purchasing decisions
  • Maintain professional presentation and represent the brand with professionalism
  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing jewelry displays
  • Assist with basic jewelry assembly and design training (training provided)
  • Support daily operations including opening, closing, and restocking

  • Approachable with a professional appearance
  • Trustworthy, and a confident personality speaking with customers
  • Strong sales instincts and ability to lead customers to purchase decisions
  • Creativity in problem solving and able to multi-task with customers.
  • Shows passion and excitement in jewelry, fashion, styling, or boutique retail
  • Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Retail, hospitality, or luxury sales experience preferred

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys sales and takes pride in their personal presentation and style.

Schedule

  • Part-time and full-time positions available
  • Weekend availability preferred
  • Summer availability required
  • Shifts rotate between both retail locations

Compensation

  • $55,000-$75,000(year)+ based on sales experience and commission rate.
